Alright, so its finally settled in (i think). The details, as much as I can gather, are that I'm moving to sacramento sometime in late july, and then starting work early to mid august. The details of my assignment are still a bit vague; i'm most likely working on a local gov't contract, but that hasn't been written in stone yet. 

As far as the living situation is concerned, it appears that I'm going to be buying a house out there. Well, by I, I mean my parents helping me to buy a house.  The idea of moving out there is still frightening to say the least, but i've started to calm down a bit. The only thing I'm worried about is the city being too spread out, and me not being able to find things to do at night. Although I guess I should probably be more concerned with building a social network first, lest I hit the town by myself .  

There are a few things that I'm looking forward to however; chiefly the weather, and sacramento's close proximity to tahoe. Hopefully I'll be able to invite all the east coast folks out west & have a big casino/ski vacation.
